Driver's License in Malaysia
To drive or rent a car
in Malaysia, many car hire companies require a full driver's licence with a
photograph and be held for a minimum of 2 years with no major endorsements.
Foreigners on a short-term visit may rent a car and drive with a legitimate foreign driver's licence in Malaysia.
If you're domestic driver's licence isn't in English, one among the documents below is required alongside your original driver's license:

Drivers holding a
legitimate driver's licence of the ten ASEAN member countries can use their
National driver's licence within the nine other countries without the necessity
